They did all of this in less than 4 months without even picking up a hammer! This is far less time spent than any contractor had projected. “We had full control of the process, the budget, and the quality. And we averaged only one hour per day doing administration of the project," the Treves said.
If we break down their administration time into a dollar per hour value, the Treves made about $1300 per hour running their remodel job while UBuildIt guided them every step of the way. That’s very hard to wrap our brains around, but it’s true!
Along with the online calendar system provided by UBuildIt and the constant contact with their UBI Home Owner’s Representatives, the Treves soon understood the value of close communication with their consultants. “Realizing how many decisions still needed to be made after our set of plans and designs had been completed was tough,” they said. UBuildIt was their sounding board. “There were several things we came across that were not anticipated on the plans. Those things needed to be decided quickly in order to not lose time on the project.”
