What was your reason for restructure remodeling? We gained living space with our kitchen remodel by taking down a wall between the kitchen and living room. We also changed the main entry way for street appeal and added a deck out front.
What upgrades did you add? Caesarstone stone, custom countertops, all new appliances including Viking stove, cable railing on Trex deck, and an indoor/outdoor wireless sound system.
Why did you choose UBuildIt? To keep the cost down, having access to experienced, reliable contractors with a good reputation gave us confidence that we could do the coordination with some guidance.
What was the hardest part about remodeling? We had a hard time making a decision about countertops and appliances. It was also a challenge to move out of the house during demolition with a newborn and a two year old and then live in the basement until the end of the project. Fortunately, the project finished on time and it was well worth it.
What was the best part about remodeling? We are proud of the end result and we are enjoying something we use every day.
How much time did you spend on the project? Most of the time we spent was in the planning and decision making period, prior to the demolition. The entire project, once we started, took approximately 3 months.
Any other comments? We were very impressed with how accurate the estimate was from UBuildIt. They were so great at helping us track expenses, stay on schedule and answer all of our questions and concerns. The communication was great. There was always someone to pick up immediately on the other end of the line or call back right away. They have an experienced, cohesive team and everyone we worked with at UBuildIt was very customer-centric and had a great attitude.
