We started the process, like many others I am certain, in an effort to save money and have greater control in the overall building of our home. I was very apprehensive with a great deal of questions and a certain amount of fear as I looked at the task ahead. However, after meeting with the consultants, designing the home, and reviewing the bids my fears subsided as my understanding of the process increased. The three ring binder detailing all the trades in the order they would be used was a great help.-Campy Campos (2,628 square foot home in Seguin, Texas)
Having a team of knowledgeable consultants, at the other end of a phone, and qualified trades made me more confident and made me trust that I could indeed manage the building of my home. The actual building of my home took 90 days from the day we poured the concrete to the day we moved in. During these 90 days I spent two weeks in Germany and working in implementing a new data system at work which required a great deal of my time. Looking back, the consultants, the trades, and the process itself made it possible for us to complete the home in record timeand it was a very satisfying experience.
The majority of preferred subcontractors have provided exceptional, quality craftsmanship & good subcontractor relationships. Most of the estimates we received from UBuildIt preferred contractors have been lower versus others. First impressions are lasting impressions! Mirabel provides outstanding customer service.
