I've said it a million times, but can't say it enough..... I LOVE LOVE LOVE our new home. I should also say, it’s not only the beautiful things we have in the house, but the functionality which is critical to me. It’s been life changing, and that is not an overstatement. Because I do a lot of cooking and baking, the kitchen and pantry are so important. I have everything I ever imagined and much more. The craft space and make up space are used daily. I could go on and on, but you get the idea, we are very, very happy, very pleased. We started building our home in late April and we moved in September 15th. Joe Meyer is very knowledgeable of construction needs and processes. The spec he puts together builds a very solid, high quality and energy efficient home. Joe's estimating skills are excellent, all built within budget. Jamie did a great job of guiding my wife and daughter through the purchases of interior decorating ,appliances, cabinetry, counter tops, plumbing fixtures, lighting etc. Picking out those items is exciting and mind boggling at the same time. UBuildIt sub contractors did an excellent job and were most cooperative and helpful. Frank their construction superintendent was awesome. He made the construction management schedules and made most of the calls to contractors to keep our project on track. As an extremely busy project manager in the electrical construction industry I would love to general our home building project but I simply do not have the time to pay attention to all of the planning and scheduling details required in the home building process. The next best thing was UBuildIt. Key for us with UBuildIt as opposed to using a traditional builder is having the ability to control costs via the competitive bidding process and flexibility to include bids from subs of our choosing.
