As Building Consultants we help you manage the project from concept to move in. Our system is centered around qualified local subcontractors and suppliers at a local, regional, and national level. Our choice of National or local financing also allows you to build on land which you purchase direct. We offer competitive choices, competitive prices, and distinct quality through our network. You're not limited to our network either. You can utilize your networking to control both the planning and construction phases of building or remodeling.
Land Purchase: Lot availability has put you in the drivers seat for negotiating and selecting the perfect lot. Why wait for the building market to accelerate? Get ahead of the competition early. We will help evaluate which lot is right for you and give you the builders perspective on development cost and house orientation.
Design Phase: Browse through are thousands of house plans then click "request more" on this web page to get a FREE ballpark budget on the house plan you have picked out. Just tell us you plan number and we take it from there. If you can't decide between two or more plans, we can combine different pieces of each plan and customize a plan to meet your desires. At UBuildIt we have a saying "every customer is different, therefore every house should be different". Our process gives you the option to have a customer home at an affordable cost.
Financing: Now is the best time to invest in a new home! Interest rates are dropping and if you are one of the many qualifying customers, you can take advantage of historically low interest rates. Our local and national partners give you options along with your current bank.
Specifications Review: The building process should start with a detailed specifications process instead of quoting square foot costs. The construction specifications should give you "choices on every line item" and not "allowances" and only a few. Our construction specifications cover every aspect of the project and is said to be "very educational, even to the experienced customer". Spending time with a consultant to go over more than 50 pages of specifications allows you to be more specific on the details of your new home.
The Bidding Process: This is where we help you find out the true cost of a new house. We will manage the bidding process within our network of qualified subcontractors and suppliers. 23 Step Construction Phase: Our construction phase allows you to be in control of the project (just like the planning phase) . You can get as involved as you want to or "as little as you want to." Some customers have the time and some have the skills but most choose not to. The UBuildIt process allows you to save 10% to 30% by working smarter, not harder. Our customers have varying degrees of experience in project management. Some spend as little as one our a week on the job site and some simply enjoy (and have time) to be on the job site more frequent. We tell you to plan for the extreme of one hour per day to manage your project.
