Patrick Bley, principle/partner, has a background in environmental science and engineering and over 20 years experience with both large-scale and residential construction projects. As a custom homebuilder, Patrick’s projects included alternative, energy-efficient, and “green” construction techniques in addition to more traditional construction methods. When Patrick was introduced to UBuildIt in 2003, he was immediately impressed by the control, flexibility and support that the UBuildIt process offered for the owner-builder for both new home and remodeling projects. Since that time, he has assisted over 70 owner-builders in successfully completing their dream home projects as a UBuildIt Construction Consultant.

 

John Hornor, principle/silent financial partner, has been involved with residential construction since 1984 as a roofing & siding contractor, job superintendent, general contractor and 13 years in home-improvement retail.  In 2003, John was involved in building a home as an owner-builder using the UBuildIt system. In fact, after building his house, John was so impressed with the program that he became a UBuildIt franchise partner in order to share with other owner-builders the same success that he experienced.

 

 

Melissa Hornor, office support, has been involved with UBuildIt in increasing increments since 2007. Melissa brings strong organizational skills and excellent customer relations to the office team. Melissa is instrumental in ensuring that schedules are followed and that we are on task with project timelines. Melissa is an invaluable asset to our office and clearly takes pride in all that she does in her contribution.

 

Teri Delaney, office support/planning consultant, brings versatility along with years of experience in the construction industry. She previously worked with UBuildIt in 2003/2004 as a Planning Consultant and is glad to be back. For the past five years Teri was a sales representative for a national lumber and millwork yard which enhanced her construction and product knowledge. Teri worked with contractors and homeowners on new construction and remodeling projects. She is experienced in design review, estimating, and working to find solutions and products for customers specific construction needs. In 2008 and 2009 Teri worked with the Hennepin Technical schools on a Minnesota GreenStar® and LEED housing project. Teri is a welcome addition to our UBuildIt team.
